Longboarding by Gavin McManus
Since the start of the summer the coastal communities group started doing longboarding training. We started by being taught the different techniques of what to do as well as contributing what we already know. We started with basic skills such as balance, hill bombing and foot stopping. once these were taken on board we learned more advanced skills such as press up slides, power slides and learning to Coleman. We all helped each other passing on tips we had, especially to members of the group who were struggling more than others. From the day we started to now everyone has upped there game as well as pushing ourselves to high levels. Hopefully in the near future there will be a longboard expedition on the cards.
